Africa Can Build Itself
How Africans Organize Their Expertise and Resources for Dignity
This publication is an institutional instrument: it introduces AEPDA’s civic framework and tests a practical model of voluntary contribution under full safeguards.
These counters are local prototype values (saved in your browser). In production they will reflect the public transparency dashboard.
Languages and editions
The book will be published in multiple languages to maximize civic access. Additional African-language translations may be sponsored.
PDF becomes available after you open the declaration and confirm consent.
Translations into additional African languages may be produced through sponsorship with transparent budgeting and reporting.
Contribution interface (prototype)
Pay-what-you-decide
There is no fixed price and no moral pressure. You may contribute before reading, after reading, later, sponsor copies, or contribute nothing.
Transparency counters
In production, a public dashboard will publish totals and allocations. This prototype simulates that experience using your browser storage.
| Metric | Value | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| PDF downloads | 0 | Incremented on “Download” |
| Total contributions | 0 | Sum of recorded amounts |
| Sponsored copies pledged | 0 | From sponsor form |
| Last activity | — | Local timestamp |
Privacy note: this prototype stores only local numbers on your device. Production transparency reports totals without exposing private citizens.
Sponsor copies and translations
Sponsorship is an act of solidarity, not a purchase of influence. Sponsorship does not create authority, votes, special access, or control.
Sponsor copies (print or distribution)
Read-first / decide-freely integrity
Sponsored copies are distributed free of charge through civic channels. Each sponsored copy may include a note inviting readers to support dissemination freely after reading—without pressure.
Translation sponsorship (how it works)
- Scope defined (language, editorial standard, target communities)
- Budget published transparently
- Translation produced and reviewed
- Distribution tracked through civic channels
To sponsor a translation, submit a sponsorship request and select “Other (sponsored African language)”, then specify the language in notes.
